We ckickened out!!!
For a week at least, so we will begin this next Monday… hope to get there.

We decided to take out the diaper of our 22 month old daughter next Wednesday. For the past 3 months she started using the potty but never quite liked it. So we got one of the special seats for the W.C. and when she saw and older friend using it… suddenly she was interested in trying it. So that´s when we tried to sit her often to use the toilet, and it wasn´t any successful at the beginning, but slowly we developed improvements up to these days.
What worked for us is to sit her on the toilet as soon as she wakes up, even if she isn’t fully awake, she developed the ability to pee early in the morning. Also to sit her around 20 minutes after a meal where she had liquid worked eventual. Although it could take 3 stories and a couple of songs, she did go. And sometimes, it didn´t.
So the project we decided to tale along in three days is to take off the diapers and go with regular underwear. I know all kid´s go through with this, but in this blog, I will post the challenges, the goods and the bad´s, just in case someone else is doing it at the same time, or can learn from our experience.
I´m kind of scared of this!
